Data recovery involves an open-ended resuscitation process with master technician involvement. Most devices (80%) are recovered on the first session under the microscope. If your is not recovered when it first comes up for repair, then the technician will continue to circle back to your device indefinitely until either 1--We make a breakthrough to solve the case and it is recovered. 2--The technician discovers a data dealbreaker and deems the device unrecoverable.
All communication should be kept within the ticket for efficiency. You'll receive updates at key stages of the process, including arrival, inquiries, completion, and invoicing. For any questions, reply to your ticket or call our customer service number.
Cancelled repairs do not qualify for No Fix No Fee and may incur a minimum shop charge. You are our customer, not your end user. If you want to avoid the possibility that they don’t come back to get their phone, then refer them to our retail mail-in repair service directly from the beginning. If you send in a data recovery job on behalf of your in-person customer and that person fails to pay you, it is not acceptable to attempt to pass your customer’s nonpayment along to us. We will not do any future work while you have an open invoice, and we will attempt to collect on our invoice through any feasible means.
